Karawang (Antara Bali) - Six people were killed and eight other were injured when a passenger bus hit a running truck from behind in the north Java highway in the regency of Subang, West Java, on Monday afternoon.

The bus speeding from Cirebon apparently wanted to get ahead of the truck but it failed and hit the rear part of truck,  police said.  
 
The bus full of passengers  and the truck, loaded with building materials, swerved off the road  and fell to a rice field .

The bodies of the dead victims and injured people all bus passengers, had been  sent  to nearest hospital, police said. (*/DWA)
