Jakarta (Antara Bali) - National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia recently signed a sponsorship deal with the Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited, according to a press release from the company, received here on Wednesday.

"Garuda will be the official partner of Liverpool FC," the press release stated.

In the statement, Garuda Indonesia also announced its capital expenditure of US$400 million (Rp63 Trillion) in 2012. The capital will be used for purchasing planes and making pre-delivery payments.

In 2012, Garuda Indonesia plans to buy 21 aircraft.(DWA/IGT)
